They are amps actually, Alpines PDX series.

    600w x 1 for the subs (2 10" alpine type r's)
100w x 4 for the door speakers (alpine type r components front, coaxial rears)

alpine w505 HU with ipod video cable, and the video bypass module for video in motion.

its not the super duper hi-fidelity setup i wanted....(mcintosh amps and HU were way out of my budget).

The sub box I think i want to have redone. Make it taller and wider and not so deep, so im able to access the spare without lowering the rear seats and pushing the box back. and gain some truck space back. also, i think i want a sealed box, as this ported box is too boomy and not that accurate.

    sorry second pic is blurry

    Re: A little sound upgrade...

You mean a box like this? I can still use my full trunk and raise the spare tire up and such. I would just like to find a grill for the sub so it can be fully protected:

    Re: A little sound upgrade...

looks good. I am waiting for my sealed box to come in as well. Ported sacrifices too much sound quality.

I should have waited for the W505. My 205 is nice, but the 505 is more updated. I just wish you could change the color of the LEDs in the buttons from blue to red to better match the interior. I went with the blue in the display to match the buttons.

Ditto. One of the selling points of the A4 was the trunk size. It's like they designed it with golfers in mind.

The real question is if you did it yourself or paid a shop to?

A difference in sound quality when it comes to Ported vs. Sealed is a myth. If you don't believe I shall show you the light. It all comes down to building the box correctly...

    Re: A little sound upgrade...

This is true, but I am lazy :)
    ...and ghetto:
You should see the cap install. The freaking back of the seats are evil, broke some drill bits.

*My roommate builds his own boxes, so I may take him up on an offer to build something custom and more form-fitting.

System looks good! A little off topic... What mm were you shooting in that second pic? Looks crazy wide.

    Re: A little sound upgrade...

I can have a module added to maintain the steering wheel controls, but i opted not to get it because i rarely ever used them. I had a shop do the install, turned it around in 1 day. I wanted to take on the project myself with the help of a friend, but got a great deal package at the shop i went to. also if anything goes wrong, or something fails, they got me covered

and the fisheye shots were with my 8mm sigma fisheye @ f3.5 on my canon 30D
