Hey guys...been hovering around here for a little while now. Just thought I should intoduce myself. From western canada, overhaul Rolls Royce RB211 jet engines, and own a 2000 4.2L. LOVE the car, love working on the car. Owned it for a couple years, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I would post a pick, but maybe after getting a new set of door blades as one actually broke clean off the other day! Hoping to get into the group buy!

haha your right. Use to mod Saabs for years, lots of old school turbo fun there. THe only thing I have planned for this car are slightly lower springs (with bils), mild tint, and 18inch wheels (som rep), roof rack, etc. PRetty conservative on this car. It's been a great car. Since I bought it I've put about 60000km on it, did the TB+WP, brakes, trans filter a couple times, plugs, tires...thats about it. Doesn't weep any oil, smooth strong power, no strange noised. I tend to drive my cars a long time (had 500000km Saabs, modified), and this one only has 202000km. Just a baby!:-) The only thing irritating me at the moment....I missplaced my Vag-com, and my laptop will not start. I'm replacing hte from O2 sensors due to high resistance, but I can't clear a code with the VAG, oh well

Hunting for an S4 avant from the USA, but that is a couple years down the road, and judging by the import documentation, they may not even be permitted for import.

I have a good friend on AW have a A6 4.2 as well, he did the RS6 rear and side swap, the car looks sick!! I recommend that as well

I do ALOT of snowboarding and mtbiking in the mountains, and I'm out about every weekend either at a hill or backcountry, so yes quite a few miles. I probably put more miles on the bicycles in the summer though;-)

I like that look as well...probably not on this car. I may look like a poser as there is an RS6 in our community;-)

Calgary is the land of oil and gas$$. More than a few RS6's....and would you believe it I saw a Maserati MC12Corsa yesterday. WHy on these bumpy roads (and a summer of maybe 3 months), who knows!
