Bilstein vs KW - need some expert's opinion

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Eventually I will be upgrading my current coilover step(StaSIS SS) to a better suspension.
I am looking at Bilstein PSS9 and KW V2 only, no other brands.
I prefer the Bilstein PSS9 S4 version more because I will add a S/C on top of my engine.

I am looking at everyday driving comfort, neutral handling, but not really hard core track performance.

    thanks in advance

Re: Bilstein vs KW - need some expert's opinion

Of those 2 i would choose the PSS9's. The rear springs on the KW's are just too soft (almost the same rate as your STaSIS SS's). If you search the B6 A4 forum i posted the rates of the most common kits.

I have driven the PSS9 and that was 2nd choice before i bought the Tracksports. The PSS9's are a great balance overall. And if you get the S4 kit the spring rates are about 10-15% higher than the A4 kit.

Thank you. Where are you in NH? I go to work at Merrimack NH.

I agree, StaSIS SS's rear spring rate is too soft, the rear end moves more over the bumps.

Either are good, PSS9's (now PSS10's) are probably more adjustable on the car.
