    Ok time for help

I can't decide on a tire and yeah, help a ninja out...

I'm getting some 19" OZ UL's next week. I live in southern California and will go on occasional canyon runs. I'm looking for something along the performance lines but will give me some good miles out of them. I don't know what tire would be a good trade off. What tire would you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

My BFGoodrich G-Force T/A KDW's seem to have a good blend of performance to mileage. Mileage from what I've read as I've only put about 2k miles on them so far... There really isn't any wear so far except for on my sidewalls from some rubbing. I'm expecting to get around 20k miles out of them. But I can attest that they hook up real well on tight fast turns with little to no squealing. People have said that they are noisy for highway cruising, however they are less noisy than the Pirelli P6's (garbage) that came on the car.

The only standing start, straight line racing I enjoy is on the way to the first corner.

I've had the Dunlop Sport Maxx's which lasted me 8 thousand crappy miles, the Falken 452's and many other tires that fall into the category which you specified.

From my personal experience I would say to go with either the Toyo T1R or the Nitto Invo, they both have great grip for the $$$ and the tread wear will be acceptable.

Good luck on your wheel shopping and let me know how they work out for you!

have a look at the goodyear eagle F1's. I just got the high performance all seasons and I love them. great in the rain too. the best thing about them imo is the 420 treadwear rating. good deals on them at tirerack.
