    Alignment

My suspension was installed a month ago and i still havent done the alignment.
I was about to it this week. But i still have that high sqeeuzyy noise everytime i go over something or even feel the struts sometimes... So im thinking that might be my stock bumpstocks.
So can i do the alignment before i cut the bumpstocks/or if id have to take the suspension apart?

    Re: Alignment

i think you should cut the bumpstops first, cuz then you would have to take your suspension apart again after the alignment and your alignment will be off ocne again...

    Re: Alignment

I agree. Cut those bump stops, make sure that is your issue, and then do the alignment. Keeps the steps taken to a min..

Trust me you will regret not getting an alignment. My brand new tires are shot, because of my ignorance to getting an alignment.

    Re: Alignment

I guess sport suspensions probably all require sport bumpstops. Is that what you have? I had non-sport suspension so when I upgraded to Stasis SS the instructions specified to cut them 1 inch. I guess you need that.

When I went in for an alignment, I needed some toe adjustment but that probably didn't come from the suspension install. My mechanic said he didn't touch the bolts that are responsible for that part. The camber cannot be adjusted in front anyway so there's no rush. It's dependent on your ride height unless you buy adjustable plates or something.
For reference, I'm riding at 25" front 25 1/8" rear and have -1,5° camber in front and -1,0° in rear.

    Re: Alignment

you can always order new stop bumps for the sport suspension online. I did that when I put in my coilover

    Re: Alignment

I used to have base suspension- now i got race springs. I used stock bumpstops. But i dunno anymore if they are my problem.
I described my problem in a first post- anyone got any comments?
Also, can i just rally cut the stock bumpstops one inch?

    Re: Alignment

I prefer you buy sport suspension bump stops instead of cutting your base suspension bump stops.
then yes, do the bump stops first and then alignment

Try having a car that can't be aligned!
