It's probably a combination of things... with the market and gas prices the way they are people are not looking to buy things that they may have in the past... I mean you're price isn't too high... granted blue book on an S4 in excellent condition is under 13k but you gotta remember that A) Mods don't add value to a car and B) with the exception of exotic cars and rare classics you will usually never make money when you go to sell your car it's always a loss of some sort... it all just depends on how much you are willing to lose... I'm totally in the same situation with my A4, I mean after I get my new clutch put in at the end of this week I will have put 7k in maintenance in to my car in the past year, but I probably wouldn't even get 7k for it if I tried to sell it.... not sure if I can take that kind of loss... I hope you have better luck with your sale, and I hope someone who actually understands and appreciates what the car is "really" worth comes and buys it....

I Always Check The Market On These Cars And Right Now The Average Pricing I've Seen Is 9k To 13.5k. Just Keep This In Mind.

Ya I have some other pictures on my phone here I should put up, and ya its a 2000 but I did do the timing belt/ water pump/ tensioners it says that right in the ad lol. Ill just have to sit tight I guess. I'm already taking a loss on the car I'm not trying to make any money on it I just want it sold without giving it away

Good luck with your sale. I've been watching it since you first put it up for sale and it's sad to see the way these cars are depreciating. Keep your head up though, the right person will come along. I personally think that selling it is a mistake that you might regret in the years to come, especially considering the money that you have put in it.

VW or BMW forums
Might gives you more visibility - more people know about the more likely you sell.
Just some ideas. Otherwise a nice car and I agree with 2ndengineS4 that you will regret this sale one day.
What car you properly replacing it with?

ATM, your car is super clean and a great deal but your asking price is too high. Right now, is really a bad time to attempt selling a car esp. a modded one at that. Our cars modded are very niche' market so your best luck would be sticking to forums. If you really want to get close to at least getting some money I would seriously consider parting out then selling stock. You would at that point have better luck on auto.com craigslist.org etc. I would hold on to it in all honesty.

dude...your car is beautiful and as clean as phuk.
in my experience, listing mods will cause people to assume that the car was raced and with 93k miles it could scare potential buyers. i'm not saying you were hard on your car, but i'm sure some may assume the worst. just my $.02f

but really its only 10k a year just about, its pretty decent mileage imo. i figure the only person whod be interested in a car like mine would be an enthusiast so thats just what i have to hold out for. that or someone with a good trade ;)
