It Output Speed Sensor. Cars doesnt run any different. Just trying to figure out what exactly this is and how to go about it.

Revisiting this thread, I have a 2002 1.8T, are all of these AMB engine codes? I thought I read somewhere that there was a difference between the early 02 models and the the later, can anyone confirm?
Also, I'm looking for a timing belt kit, is there a difference for these? Something about a thermostat and/or housing difference?
