I have a 96 a4 2.8 and I know that i obviously have to trim around the upper fenders to get the one piece headlights to fit, but as far as being plug and play is it? Do i need to buy any different wiring harnesses or anything?

    Thanks guys.

yes it will work. you will need to take the wiring harness out of your old headlights and put them into the new onces. or i believe ECS sells a convesion kit for like 50 bucks. i just swapped the harnesses to save a few bucks and works fine.

    heres the DIY i used

You will have to trim around the fender for the headlights to fit. There is no way of stepping around it. But there are many people whom have done that upgrade. The sawzill seems to be people's best freinds in that situation. I don't know about the harness, but I just placed the Valeo Ecode headlights in mine specified for the A4 and S4. But the harness for the turn signals were different. I ended up having to dremel a peice off the stock turn signal holder and using that on my new headlights.
