    i heard its not recommended to put wider rubbers ex: 235 up front and lets say 245+ in the rears on quattros cause its gonna shake alot.

    is that true?

    235 up front would be narrower than 245... assuming that is what you meant.

    some people will argue that it is bad, however I ran 225's up front and 235's in the rear for 10k with no issues.

    The real problem is the understeer a wide rear/stock front will create. Not only will it make cornering worse to have smaller rubber up front, but you can damage the quattro system if you have too big of a rolling diameter difference between the tires. Just put wider tires on the front and the rear and you will be fine.

    what i mean is i was told its not good to run wider rubbers cause its gonna shake to much? not staggered rims

    Yes I was talking about rubbber too. Usually the rolling diameter difference between 225/235 isn't a big enough difference. At least that has been the case for me.
