Interesting on so many levels. Comparing a truck to a sports sedan/ German vs American- C'mon man!!!! I love my country but we build some of the worst cars on the planet. The fact that this bung hole had to look on google to find out what an RS4 was tells the whole story. I love this line - "Ah, how great it was to eat up some EuroTrash". And this one - "I wasn't even going to tell my tale because, well, it was an Audi. I might as well have beat up on a Neon." Wow, again just shows how clueless this guy really is. It's great to love all that is American, but this guy shouldn't get too excited as he obviously has no clue what's it's like to drive a nice car. BTW, no way that was an RS4. If it was, the guy driving it was a douch bag. Oh well, I guess anyone can make a great car look like shit.

It's funny, right after I read this post, I went out to lunch with the wife, hop on the freeway, about to merge in, and saw a Trailblazer speeding towards me. I pull it up to about 90MPH, but he still came right up to my tail. I slowed down to about 75MPH, thinking if he's not going to back off at 90MPH, there's nothing I can do. He continues to stay on my tail for about 2 miles before he gave up and changed lanes (both sides were clear the whole time, BTW). As he speeds past me, sure enough, I see the SS emblem on his tail. I;m in Socal, and the original post happened in the east coast I believe. But I guess TBSS drivers are the same everywhere!

Damn makes me feel better about last weekend. I was driving back with the girlfriend from our trip up to madison and after being stuck in bumper to bumper I started to open her up when the road started clearing near Schaumburg. That's when i started to notice one of those SS Trailblazers trying to ride up my ass when there was nowhere to go.
Unlike the dumbasses on those forums I love all fast cars and can easily spot any performance version of a car. Anyways, as soon as I got an opening I just wanted to open her up. I wasn't paying attention to the guy but it turned out he was trying to pass me, but ended up falling far behind. He eventually caught up near the O'Hare toll plaza but never tried to pass again. I've worked on many cars from Mustangs, GN's, Rx7s, and countless others and enjoyed beating on them when I can but I'm not a Douche and complain about something I don't understand. The LS2 is a mighty engine, but headers and an exhaust don't mean shit unless you are driving a turbo car.

LoL, I ended up doing the same thing. One of my other options was the SRT8 Jeep and it really drove quite well... until I realized the pile of money it would burn everytime I fill it up with gas. Yes 12mpg city is Impressive.

Ha Ha HA that entire story made me laugh because just today One of those ss boats got all crazy when i pulled next to him on the on ramp he reved his engine ( i hate that) and floored it on the on ramp he took off but when my rpms were above 4 i caught up to him i may have not beat him but 1.8 vs ls1 is that whats in there ?? oh well lets see trak times :)

Ah ok, I used to reside in both Framingham as well as Sudbury. Nice areas. I am in Providence these days though..... good shit man, maybe one of these days we can arrange a New England AZ meet, that would be great.
