when I go over bumps in my car i hear a sound in the left front wheel. it sounds like someone jingling change in their hand once. only happens at faster speeds. any one know what it could be?

I kind of get that same sound when driving next to a center divider with the window down, going anywhere from 20-40mph. Hopefully someone can give some input.

Quick squeaks? I get them in both my fronts pretty much at any speeds.. from what I've read in other forums, its the caliper clips that cause this squeak. Others have reported it too and said it went away as soon as they had brake upgrades done.. now for a change sound? I dunno.. is it really loose coinage? lol

does it sound like a faint rattle?? if so mine do it as well, it is the Brake dust covers or springs for the brakes that do that u gotta tighten it!

Re: Weird sound.. anyone have a suggestion?

It's your brake pad rattling. Reach through the wheels and push on the inner break pad in a couple different directions, you'll hear it ping. You're fine with the rattle. If oyu want it gone, you'll have to take out the pad adn adjust the prongs in the back as well as put a bunch of antisqueal around the body to help stop metal/metal contact.

12/23/09 - My car has been phenomenal to me. Runs strong. Don't think I'm ever going to sell it. Rather throw $7k into it for a refresh than buy a new A4 that has no dipstick.
    12/5/10 - 100k miles & counting!
    9/22/13 - 146k+ & running strong w/a new TB, water pump, etc.
