Next Mod: Full S4 DTM Body Kit or AWE BT Kit?

If you would choose between these two mods which would you chose? If I do the body kit i will also due an ECS Power Pulley, Phenolic Spacers and S3 Injectors so i would max out my K03 but the look would be amazing. The other option is keep the non s line body but have a 340WHP AWD Monster.

The true DTM kit is the same kit as is found on the 25th anniversary S4, not the standard S4 quattro GmbH option. On the S4 quattro GmbH body kit option the rear bumper has space for the quad pipes that come on the S4. The true DTM rear bumper has space for two single pipes. The DTM body was first introduced in Germany as a special version A4 2.0T.

The DTM body kit will make your car look great, but it seems like you're always posting threads about 1/4 mile and stuff like that, so it looks like you're a performance minded driver. Sounds like you want the BT!

Throw some wheels and coilovers at your car and it looks awesome. Body kits look good too but if your car doesn't go why draw so much attention to it? You will just look like a try hard - all show no go.

The only reason i am so interested in the DTM Kit is because when i was driving up to Connecticut yesterday i drove next to a 25th Anniversary S4 the entire time and the car looked breath taking. The only thing is that is holding me back from the BT Kit is the car being too fast for my first car, i don't want to get myself into any trouble.

^^^just because you have a fast car doesnt mean you have to drive it to its extreme every minute or every time....I know a few people with fast cars and drive speed limit (I just dont know how they do that)

I'd go for the turbo upgrade. If this was me, BT definitely, specially when I'm loving the S-line body.

But if I was in your shoes, even if I had a non S-line body, I'd go BT.

yes. auditude did a post the other day with 0-60 times he had just achieved with his TIP and one of them was 4.9. that is damned fast. a good 1/4 mile could definitely be done with his setup.

Id go BT kit but will you have problems being tiptronic? will u need to upgrade the torque converter and obviously fuel pump

Do i consider my car fast, no but not to sound full of myself but i do think its a very quick car, its not an RS4 or Stage III B5 but its a 13 second car with sub 5 second 0-60 and in my book thats quick. I know that i would get smoked by a lot of cars but there are also a lot of cars that i would beat or give them a run for their money.

I'll vote for the BT kit with a turbo upgrade. Or do you already have that? Sub 5.0 0-62 is good enough for the body kit upgrade. Remember, Audi is the complete package not just any one feature.

I think you have to consider, do you really need to go even faster? If you are not tracking the car regularly and its your daily driver then maybe the looks will suit you better in the long run. Whats the exact price difference?
