just installed the RaceTec and problems...

Chris and I worked on the car allll day and I mean bout 10 hrs trying to figure this out. Obvious boost leak so we went back and checked alll the clamps and re-tighten everything. Have no idea what it could be and im stumped, drove the car home like a grandma

also have had an oil leak for awhile not sure if its a broken hose or what but it seems to be coming from the intake manifold side possible pcv? I had the 3 way hose and the suction jet pump hose replaced so not sure if that might play a part in the boost leak at all

lol, well explain to me your oil leak. Did you see it on the floor right after you isntalled it? or is it constantly dripping everywhere

You didn't exactly say what issue you were having after installing the FMIC.

leaking something, and he says that his turbo spools but he goes no where. no boost guage

when I go wot it spools turbo gets pretty loud and goes nowhere shifts kinda hard (tip) don't have a boost gauge yet the car is timid limp mode?

possibly a blown wastegate or bypassvalve?

mine blew a wastegate/bypassvalve(forgot which one) and when i went WOT the turbo made a loud sound just as if i had an atmospheric BOV. and when decelerating, the engine dies.

don't have a boost leak tester sounds lie the leak is on intake mani side at idle it goes pssssh pcv?? when wot it sounds lie a leak is coming from the turbo side

yo man, ive got a boost leak tester. Ill help you out. I just used it today to help a buddy find a leak. Turns out a one way valve broke apart and casued a leak. How come your never at the sat. meet?

How did you install the diverter valve. The kit came with the supplied hose attachment but I cannot get it to connect from the diverter valve to the pipe. Now I tried moving the diverter valve in every direction to make it fit and it would not work so please dont tell me to move the diverter valve around. The pipe with the diverter valve nipple is facing towards the passenger wheel. Do I have it on the wrong way? Any help is appreciated. I could have been done a while ago but that is the last step. Please help.

EDIT: Im thinking I need to turn the pipe with the nippel facing towards the engine. I ran out of time for tonight so I will try tomorrow. Also, getting that pipe to fit between the cooling lines and the smoke pump thing was a b**ch.

yes it was a bitch getting around the pumps had to trim some plastic to get the pipes to fit wish they woulda gave you one pipe just like the intake mani side but I have it facing toward the turbo doesnt leave much room at all the hose on the pipe is bent a bit because of no space really wonder if that would have anything to do possibly? not flowing efficiently??

i found that you have to really tighten the t clamps really tight cause i had huge booost leaks once my kit was installled.

yeah man we can do the vag mods! just got back from eta dave tightened the coupler coming off the turbo because it was loose and replaced the torn vac line said I should get oem 386cc injectors because the siemens don't sit properly and low enough.

You are using the fuel rail spacers?
