i need a hose kit and these are the best looking, that arent $400. anyone have any experience? good quality fitment?

I just put the ASI's on the my car about a month ago. The quality looks better to me then Samco, however you DO need some modification when installing. A lot of the hoses are too long and need to be cut. Also, some are a real tight tight fit. Lots of patience needed!

How can you say the quality is better if you had to trim them? I have Samco's and they are built great and required not modification to fit. I had no trouble fitting my hoses. You get what you pay for.

The quality of the hose is better. The ASI seems to have 3 layers vs the two from the Samco and the material from ASI is thicker. The fittment/cut is better on the Samco, but fot the price difference I would rather do a little cutting myself.

thanks for all the replies, but is there anyone out there that has had personal experience with the autobahn88 hoses? those are the ones im really looking into. thanks for the help.

I know it's not exactly what you are looking for but I have been using their A4 1.8t hose kit for over a year now with no problems. No fitment, trimming, or strength issues.
