Tire Max load Question - Tirerack--A4 avant

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Looking to order tires--

    2008 B7 A4 2.0 Avant Quattro-

OEM's have 94H 1477lbs-- door sticker says same.

But What is the load recommendation for Front & Rear Axle? Tirerack pulls tires with as low as 1356lbs (91Y) as allowed.

How close are we getting to the actual load recommendation per tire for Front & Rear at 91Y?

Is ther a safety cushion to think about if you want to load the Avant with weight? (Luggage, skis, other junk?)

    Thanks for Info.

We don't have the GAWR ratings on file, but should be in the door jamb. Normally the OE tires are XL to help provide extra protection for the wheel (assuming its not needed for the axle requirements)
