    Re: Help with Warning light!

I tried to do it with my ebay cable but it told me that I need the registered one. I guess I'll have to invest a little more $$$ into getting the better one. Thanks audiwop.

    Re: Help with Warning light!

you might get rid of the light bnut are you solving the problem?
The pic is small but it looks like the warning light for the self leveling headligfht system. There is a sensor by the front (left?) suspenson thast controls this and coudl have come lose or disconnected if hit by something or during work being done on the car (i.e.: suspension install...)

Someone here I am sure will know exactly where it is or even have a pic

Accordinding to the owners manual it means that the "Dynamic headlight dimmer control not functioning" but I don't see much of a difference by the way it came on after I adjusted the raange with my ebay cable so I put it back to what it was and still have the warning light, it's very annoying

Dude if you played around with the setting of the HID's you need to relearn the Adjustment. Anytime you take it out of 00020, even if you put it right back to 00020 you have to. You can do it with the 409.1 Vag. You have to monitor group 001 then group 002 and it should be ok. I do this all the time since I mess with my lights cause the stock HID's suck .

Yeah man I just double checked. Change the number you have it set to again, even if you just put it right back to 00020. Then go to Basic settings move the 000 box to 001. It should say something like Set/learn. Then click the box up to 002 and it should say learned. Hopefully it works for you. I do it all the time. I know I did it with the free vag once or twice. Now I run Cracked Vag and it works fine.

when you change the coding of the module, do the headlights move on their own, or do you have to adjust them manually as well? is there a way to adjust one headlight at a time? one of mine looks out of whack from the other one, do i have to just put it into learn mode and change the headlights manually?

    Re: Help with Warning light!

you can adjust the motors to different set heights in the ECU (00010, 00020, 00030, 00040, etc). You Fine tune them manually. Anytime you change that setting via VAG you have to relearn its new home position. Also though, you can fine tune manually as much as you want and they should return to where you "tuned" them to. So Xpl0sive you can adjust yours with the white knobs and not worry about the light.
