any tips on how to release that retainer clip on the front suspension? ive got everything apart and ive been trying my hardest to "push down and pull forward" (as a4mods says) and that thing is NOT budging.

Put some strength into it. Just stand on the hub or bounce a little if you have to. You will hear a loud pop but don't be alarmed. If you followed the instructions right so far, you won't damage anything

+1. just hop on it and it will pop out. you wont break anything and definately dont worry about putting them back in.

dude, i figured it out. i looked up and saw what you were talking about. i thought it was going to be something between the top shock mount and car, but its just a little circular metal piece with a "screw" type thing. its deffinatly more of a down motion youve got to pull than a forward motion. i ended up using a pry bar between the top shock mount and fender and it worked like a charm. now i need to do the rear tomorrow (ran out of time today, had a 21st bday party to go to!)
