Stereo Questions

I tried searching, and I've given up. I have the Audi Symphony 2 system. The one without the cassette player. Not the 6 cd changer either. Holds 1 CD.

How do I see if it's the BOSE one or not? (I don't think it is)
Can it play MP3 CDs?
What is the easiest way to hook up my iPod? (install aux port, etc)

All I can help with...

1. For themost part the radio's are not BOSE specific. It is a program setting in the radio for the EQ, but that being said I don't think the BOSE system came with that radio at all.

It should say BOSE when it turns on if its a bose stereo. It will also say bose on all the speaker covers.

No, it cant play MP3's

I know audi sells an OEM ipod kit, but theres tons on ebay aswell. Ive never used either though

get a blitzsafe adapter for the ipod like $50 and use a monster ipod cable installed it in 8min and it sounded fantastic!

if you have BOSE, you will have BOSE sticker on the speaker grill. You don't have BOSE in this case.
the easiest way to hook up iPod is to buy a Cassette player. I have one and I don't need it. $10 shipped to you.

so this wouldn't work? Like if there were openings in the back of the stereo, I would have the iPod in the glovebox and have the cable go through there to the back of the stereo
