    Body Panel Painted, how long to wait before car wash?

    How long should one usually wait after say a fender was painted, until you can take the car to like a car wash?

    I've been told it was two weeks before its safe to do so?

    Anybody here know/

    I would say absolute minimum 1 week. 2 weeks probably as a safe length of time.

    I was told 2 weeks to wash my bike after it was repainted.....

    I certainly wouldn't wax it for at least a month
