I'm replacing my stock titanium 18's with new wheels which are 18x8.5. Should I stay with stock tires or will going one size bigger to 245/40 benefit the car in any way?

18 x 8.5 typically use the same 235/40 tire. I believe this is what tirerack also recommends.

245/40R18 is fine, and would be better on the 8.5.
