Quick Question: Will 19" Stern ST-2 wheels clear B5S4 brakes?

Hey guys, over from the B6 section.

I have B5S4 front brakes and I (like the title states) will my brakes clear Stern ST-2 wheels WITHOUT any spacers or anything?

Anybody know? I am in kind of a rush to buy these, lol. My current tires are beyond bad.

Considering the stock S4 wheels are 17", I'd say 19's would clear your brakes.

That is in no way true. It all depends in the offset, and the design of the spoke and wheel itself. These wheels in particular have a +35mm offset.

Well 35mm is perfect offset for b5 (s4 atleast) I don't know about the spoke clearance though.

Exactly. The current wheels I have on my B6 are 35mm offset and just BARELY clear the S4 brakes, but the set of wheels I had before my current ones were also 35mm offset and they did NOT clear. So it all depends on the spoke design.

I guess i am looking for someone who has these wheels and has an S4.....
