Ordered one HID kit from VVME, DHL just delivered 3!

After the plane carrying my HID kit had a fire aboard VVME filed an insurance claim with DHL. In the meantime I guess my package was not famaged in the fire and after testing by DHL they sent me the original HID kit.

Then 2 days ago VVME sends notice they were granted money through DHL for a replacment kit and they send out a second kit.

Now 20 minutes ago the DHL man shows up with 3 HID kits!

2 H7 6000K kits
1 9006 4300k kit

The bulbs confirm the temps of the bulbs but the connectors all look the same between the H7 and 9006 kits.

Did I get the deal of a lifetime? 6000k lows, 4300k fogs, and two replacement ballasts if I ever need them for $70?

Deal of a lifetime would be a free house or similar type of deal, but non the less, thats definitaly a descent deal.

Just got done installing them. They worked once I figured out that the positive and negative symbols on the plugs were backwards and when I followed the wire colors for the connections they fired right up

The only extra thing I got from VVME was a "non-paying Bidder" claim oppened after they charged my card and sent out the kit. Lucky.

I am curently installing my HID kit, and was wondering where do you guys place the ballast? Those things are huge. I started to trim the side walls of the undercarriage of the headlight, but it is too much of a hastle. Scared that if I even try trimming the other side I will open a hole into the housing iself. Anyways, just wondering where you guys placed your ballasts for both driver and passenger? Thanks!

I have some bulky ballast I just got and they just popped in the bottom just fine with no shaving. Although I didn't use the vvme kit. Mine were xenonstars. Got 2 kits for 120 shipped.

I plan to use the 4300k kit in the fogs. Ill try testing the other ballasts and bulbs and make sure everything works and Ill get back to you guys.

Im actually doing a snub nose install, and will find a spot to mount the ballasts then. I just found some random spots to mount them until I can get to the sub mount this week.

Yeah, I did have to shave the outer part (of the undertray) of mine. But found out that I do not have to shave the inner part. The other headlight should come out better now that I know the depth I need to shave.

i got my stock 2 piecers and i managed to fit them in the actualy headlight back itself. fits good but only thing im afraid of it getting to hot or something in there? is this a bad place for them?

SOB! I already drilled holes in mine. Plus I would just feel more comfortable having air flow over my ballasts.

Watch it, they will come back and ask for the one's you didnt order, or they will charge your card.

Happened to me on a dynojet kit for my bike.. They sent two, I kept both and waited, after a month they came back and told me of their mistake and told me to ship back the extra. Knowing this would happen I informed them that I had the box waiting and just wanted a UPS return label emailed to me (they wanted me to ship it on my dime, HA), after 2 more weeks they finally gave it to me and I sent it back...

Needless to say, hold on to it...

Well I paid with Paypal for one kit and DHL already paid them for one of the extra kits, plus shipping back to China would be $40. Ill wait and see what they say. They sent me multiple tracking numbers so they weren't totally in the dark as to what was going on.
