Ok as you guys know b6 brakes sucks.

What else do i need ?

What kind of rotors(link please) + what pads ?

    I also have question:

    Re: Brakes problem.

Rotors and pads are sold almost always by car application. So wherever you're buying the parts, you select/ask for 1999-2002 S4 rotors (320mm x 30mm) and pads (two pads per each side of each caliper).

    Examples:

    http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...OE%202%20Piece

Other than that, you should get a full set of brake lines (front AND rear), and brake fluid.

Teflon, stainless steel braided brake lines will improve pedal feel and response, firm things up a considerable bit. It's a worthy part of a brake upgrade.

Except for the 2pc floating rotors from ECS I linked (more expensive, but reduce unsprung weight), the rest are basically OEM replacement rotors. They're the same, but less expensive, and if you want, you can get them slotted, cross drilled, or both... Other than plain.

Hawk HPS pads would be a good choice.

Here's a good information on the B5S4 front brake upgrade. And if you are wondering...yes they clear 17" oem sport rims.

(note: B5S4 aka "HP2" have 4 pads per caliper )

    Re: Brakes problem.

Doh, my mistake. It's two per side, so four total per caliper.
