Lookin good guys. Keep em coming!
When I was 25, my insurance dropped dramatically. Male 25 and over Single (Better if you are married). The insurance industry stopped using that as a magic number about 5 years ago. Makes sense, why should someone who got their license at 21, only been driving 4 years get better rates than a 24 year old that's been driving since they were 16? The original logic was the majority of the scientific/medical community believe than males do not develop the part of the brains that is used for cognitive reasoning fully until the age of 25. This is what determines whether or not you truly understand the consequences of your actions to the fullest possible ways. Studies also have shown that males 25 and over are less likely to get into an accident.
But 5 years ago they changed that. I don't know what you are paying for insurance, but here's my coverage:
Full comprehensive and collision, $250 deductible, $50 a day max rental, loan pay-off, uninsured and underinsured coverage (100,000\300,000) towing and roadside and a 100,000/300,000 liability (State of California minimum is 15,000/30,000) for $289 for six months.
I am a male 35, married. Driving since I was 16, no accidents on record (anymore) or tickets. I've been with my insurance company for over 10 years (persistency) and a multicar, multipolicy discount.
