HVAC question or WTF?

I was driving home last night and while stopped on a red light, my AC quit blowing. I checked the ambient temp it was 100F and my Auto T-Stat was set at 64 F. A second later everything came back on again blowing really hard. WTF? Another time, I made a U-turn and I turned hard left, the blower stop again...but started a second later. Last thing, Why does it take 2-3 seconds for the AC/Fan to start when you first start the car. This is my first Audi, it is less than a month old to me, so are these normal behavior of the HVAC? Did the blower motor itself stop? Or did it keep blowing normally but it was not pumping out cool air? You could try taking it off auto and just setting the temp and speed to where you like it, and see if that makes the problem go away. If yes I suspect it's the auto climate controls that are going wonky.

OTOH if the blower motor is intermittent it could be the blower motor itself.

The AC blower doesn't come on right away when you first start up because you don't want it to blow hot air (or in the winter, cold air) at you until the system can blow air at you at a decent temperature. if you don't like that behaviour take it off "auto" and put the settings to where you want them.

The blower motor just cut off, the indicator on the panel went down then off and then started up again. The air coming out is definitely cold. Kind of weird, especially when turning the wheel to the extremes...
