Dumb question about leaks.

Ok, this is a dumb question, but i'm curious to have someone sort this out for me once and for all...

Right now, the bolts that attach my downpipe to the turbos hotside are loose and causing a leak. (I will be bolting them back down tonight. I need to let it cool)

This leak would do what to the way the turbo spools? Will it speed up spool due to 'less back pressure' or will it cause the spool to slow down?

I know the AFR's will 'show' differently too, which way? Lean or rich? I would assume lean right?

my bolts work themselves loose all the time.

as for running differently, i imagine it affects the 02 sensor somewhat.
