Going to the Audi RS4 Sportscar Experience @Infineon 8/5. Any experienence here..?

Has anyone here participated in this program? I'm really looking forward to it. The day starts off with some chalk talk time, then slalom cone stuff, hard braking around a coned corner, basically autocross stuff I believe. Then break for lunch and afterward I'll get to drive on two different configurations of Infineon off and on until about 4:15.

I'm pretty heavily involved with motorcycle track days having gone to my local track, PIR, and also Miller, Seattle and Thunderhill for over 2 1/2 years now. Doing a day like this imo should be at least similar to what I'm used to but I'd imagine quite different as well. I'm really looking forward to further tap the potential of my RS4 once I get back from this 1 day program. Perhaps I'll get the bug and start doing some local track days or DE's in Portland.

THAT is a ripoff! ... or we are spoiled down here in So Cal with track time at fraction of that BS price ... wow! Crap, I would pay $1300 for 4-5-6 days of track time whether on my scooter or in a car.

The foregoing aside, I'll bet the lunch is really good ... they are feeding you I hope!?!

Let's just say I didn't pay list. And, I'm driving their cars, not mine. I believe some sort of continental breakfast and lunch is included. I'm sure everything is top notch.

I've done the R8 version (2-day) and it was very good, but it's not like a track day--just as the name implies it's a driving experience. Since you've already experienced the RS4 as an owner, and have track day experience, I wouldn't have recommended this event for you. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it though and thrashing someone else's car is always a bonus. Let us know how it goes.

To be honest, you don't know how good it is until you actually do it. I thought the program was incredibly well run and will be going back for the R8 program within the next year. I disagree that you won't get anything out of it if you've owned an RS4 and done track days. These guys will take you to places you've never been with that car, and never knew you could go. You get a really nice lunch too during the day, so that's a nice little bonus...plus a free gift at the end. Check out the video I just put together for a sneak peek, but the video really doesn't do it justice. But all in all, an awesome day!
