    Valeo Ecode Question

I just got my hands on some Ecode headlights and am in the process of installing my HID kit. What bulb do I use for the turn signal? I ordered the Stealth Bulb #3457 and it is the wedge bulb (that is $30 down the drain). But I did order the correct part number.

I did search and found that people use the Silver Star 3457, but it is the wedge and I need the bayonett. So I went to Autozone and the Silver Star are the same thing.

Are the wedge ones for our stock turn signals and the Ecode are bayonett? I need turn signal bulbs. What is the bulb number I need? And where can I get them in the chrome ones like the Stealth Bulb or do they have them in the Silver Star? Thanks!

*this is what I found so far. from this thread

Those are the bulbs in your current headlights (Ecode)?

Yep, but I just used the original turn signal bulbs not the white thing that plugs in so, I guess it is probably different

    Re: Valeo Ecode Question

Yeah, there is too much junk to go through to get to the turn signal bulb (that is currently on my car) to take a look at it.

But do you know if the 1157 is a bayonett? And have 2 connectors as pictured above.

    Thanks!

Edit: The power of the search. 1157 it is.
