    IF my ecu is damaged and i find out I need another stock chip i will be very interested. I will let you know later on tonight or monday. if you can hold it for me that would be great .
    will it work for a 2003 fwd a4?

    will this work on a 04 A4 1.8t Quattro Tip? if so is it easy to install? what type of increases does it provide?

    i dont think it would work for a Tip....its for manual. GIAC claims a 30-38 hp increase.

    On the GIAC website, and every other website I've looked it doesn't specify a difference between a tip and manual. Maybe someone should find out?

    i believe it will only work for a manual....you should take it to a shop for install. about a 30hp increase.
