Any one know where I can source a new interior rear view mirror? All of the oil leaked out of mine the other day...

    Re: Rear view mirror

That recently happened to me on one of my other cars. Did you clean it up? If so, what'd you use?

    Re: Rear view mirror

I think that these mirrors are stupid expensive fro what they are. There are people selling used ones for like $120. That's how much they consistently go for on ebay.

    Re: Rear view mirror

I upgraded mine (2000 A6) with a hidden compass mirror from a B6. I think it would also be plug and play with a B5. Got it off of Ebay.

How much you get your mirror for off ebay?

Mine is still good. Hope it stays good. My car is garaged so I'm hoping that helps since its not in the elements as much. But who knows if that matters or not. But I'm sure its just a matter of time before it craps out on me.

    Re: Rear view mirror

I found mine for $110. Cheaper than the b5/c5 replacement was going for at the time. And also a lesson learned: C6 mirror has the same wiring, but a different mount, it will not work.

    Re: Rear view mirror

Screw the auto dimming mirrors. I have a Broadway Mirror, and I've been using it for years. Eliminates blind spots, and clips right on top of my piss-filled auto dimming mirror. I think it was like $20 shipped. I would reccommend it.

    You sure? But a rearview mirror from a C5 A6 (pre-2005) will work in a B5 S4?
