Just bought a set of new wheels for a b6 s4 and was interested in opinions on tires in a size 245/35/19. I live in the bay area and go to the snow 3-4 times a year. TIA

You should probably use something thinner rather then a 245 in snowing season. You dont have a 2nd set of wheels for winter driving only?

I think the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons would suit you well. They are rated great and reasonably priced at TireRack.

When we had a chance to drive on them, I felt the Bridgestones (RE960) were a little better in wet (when driven hard), and the Michelins were better in dry. However, unless you push the car REALLY HARD very often, the Goodyear is the best value for the money.
