Cool Visiting Tampa/St. Pete from New York

    Hey everyone,

I'm from New York and I'm visiting a friend of mine who lives down here for a week... I actually came on Monday, wasted two days so far just sitting around and not doing much. Actually, that was kind of the plan =) Just be lazy and relax.

Despite all this laziness, I REALLY REALLY want to go jetskiing, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Anyone know any good places in this area to rent jet skis for an hour or two that won't kill my wallet?

Also, I am looking for other ideas for the next few days. The friend I'm staying with suggested deep sea fishing which sounds interesting (but I have never done that before)...

If anyone has any other ideas for me to kill time, please let me know...

EDIT: Just thought about this; Are there any Go-Kart tracks around the area?

Hey definitely do deep sea fishing!!! Its an experience you'll never forget!

Ask your friend to take you to Clearwater Beach and go to the docks where the boats are at right when you enter the beach area. There, rent some jetskies for about $60/hr. ENJOY!

Thanks for the tip... Are the deep sea fishing boats in the same area?
Also, in Clearwater Beach, are the docks you're talking about right off memorial causeway (on island way) or are you talking about once you cross OVER the causeway?

These are over the causeway as soon as you enter the strip on your left after going around the round-a-bout. I never went deep sea fishing from Clearwater, I went from Cocoa Beach (the other coast) but Im sure you can from there too. Do a search online for deep sea fishing in that area, and im sure you'll find something.
