    Repaired bumper, quarter panel, and door damage on A4. See 5 pictures.

    Customer is returning her A4 at lease end and has been told that the following will cost her $2400 in penalties:

    1. Dent in rear bumper.
    2. Small tear in rear bumper.
    3. Deep scratch in passenger quarter panel.
    4. Deep scratch in passenger door.

    We repaired all issues for $1075 and saved her $1225.

    Pictures:











    Process:

    1. Wax/grease remove all panels.
    2. Scuff all panels with abrasive paste. Repeat cleaning. Mask off car.
    3. Remove bumper.
    4. Heat and reshape bumper. Fill. Prime. Seal. Clean bumper.
    5. DA scratches out of door and quarter panel.
    6. Epoxy prime. Paint Seal.
    7. Clean all panels.
    8. Basecoat (Audi Moro Blue): 3 coats.
    9. Allow 15 min. to flash.
    10. Clearcoat (PPG Deltron 3000): 2 coats, 5 minutes flash time.
    12. Allow 12 hours cure time.
    13. Wetsand 2000.
    14. Cut, buff, polish.
    15. Review work repeatedly in daylight.
    16. Clean jambs, windows, wheels, etc.
    17. Deliver to customer.

    Most bodyshops would charge $2000 for this work. We delivered bodyshop quality work for almost half their rates.

    If you need light collision repair, consider getting an estimate from our shop in Beaverton.

    1. Mix up 1/4 oz. of Nogaro
    2. Squeegee into scratch
    3. Buff off excess

    We could improve this scratch 70 - 90% with this method for $40.

    bump for fixing my key marks as best as possbile without full respray!!!!

    and now the S is gone....should be picked up tomorrow....tis a sad day.

    Mike post up some pictures of how it turned out. If I would have none I could get it fixed for so cheap I would of.

    what do you charge for respray of a bumper w/filling of some minor scrapes on the bottom

    This A4's bumper had some common issues with drivers who frequent downtown Portland: scuffs and bolt impressions from parallel parkers.

    We repaired and painted the entire bumper in preparation for sale.

    Price: $325
    Time: 7 hours (drop off in morning, pick up in afternoon)
    Materials: Standox basecoat (Audi LY7W); PPG Deltron 3000 clearcoat.

    Wow. That looks fantastic.

    How much lead time do you need for an appointment. I drive from Seattle to Salem about once a month and would be interested in getting my rear bumper fixed like the above post. Very nice work.

    We painted some lowers for an AZ board member last week.

    Time: 24 hours

    Cost: $385

    Process:
    Remove bumpers/cladding.
    Clean.
    Scuff.
    Clean.
    Apply Adhesion promoter.
    Apply Sealer/Primer.
    Apply Audi LY7W silver.
    Apply clearcoat.
    Cure.
    Attach bumpers/cladding.

    A6 trunk repair.

    Time: 48 hours

    Cost: $385

    Process:
    Remove spoiler.
    Remove emblems
    Clean.
    Scuff.
    Clean.
    Dual action sander: 150 grit.
    Apply primer surfacer.
    Wait overnight.
    Wetsand 600 grit.
    Clean.
    Tape/mask.
    Basecoat.
    Clearcoat.
    Wait 8 hours until cured.
    Wetsand 2000 grit.
    Buff.
    Polish.
    Reapply spoiler and emblems.
