Got my exhaust done!!!

Hey guys... so ot my exhaust done yesterday :)

cut resonator.. replaced everything back with 2.5 inch straigh piping into 2 magnaflow mufflers.. into 2 4 inch tips :)

i need to hear a sound clip!!!! i cut the res out and just have 2.5 inch piping with two 3'' tips and i love it but i wanna change the tone a little... it sounds like im driving a mix between a v6 mustang and a viper... which is bad haha

i have a 2000 2.7t and im looking to put some cut-outs right after the cats for performance when i need it ...and then back to stock when police are on the loose...what do you guys think???

Ok guys... haha.. I PROMISE I will upload some pics today in the evening.. I just dont have my computer around.. and using this POS....

The pipes i would say sound.. nice... but A little tooo loud for my taste... the sounds is sick though.. something in between a supra and viper with a little R32 in it :)

This was not a DIY.. this was a take it to the shop and let them brake their heads on it thing....

The Exhaust project is NOT FULLY DONE YET EITHER!!!.... I'm going to unclamp the whole exhaust... where it comes off.. after cats??... and paint it BLACK! hehe

I just love the look of the straigh pipes when i look under the car from the back.. so I will spice it up a little with black engine enamel :)

Well the tips look great, but what inch piping is that? please tell me its not 2"? lol it looks kinda small, and i bet that thing is loud.

well this is where they cut the resonator... so they cut the resonator.. and everything from there went 2.5 inches :)

Looks nice bro, I love the looks of the dual exhaust on the C5's. For the life of me I can't figure out why they didn't do that for the B5 S4... Whatev...

Just curious, I see that you say in your sig that you are doing piggies in the near future, why didn't you just do them when you had all of your exhaust off anyway? It would have been a ton easier than trying to rip in there a second time to get the DP's off. But hey, it still looks sick!

shouldn't be more than $400 if you get magnaflow mufflers and tips
(that's for a resonator-back setup, cat-back could be a little more, but I can't imagine more than $500)

Unless you plan to cut from cats back and pipe 3" with an x pipe, i would just leave the stock exhaust in place and replace the mufflers and tips. Upgrading from 2.25" to 2.5", in my opinion is a waste.

I kept the stock exhaust and put magnaflow mufflers w/3.5" tips on. Install was about $100. I bought the mufflers and tips used for about $200.
