be careful driving back up to the bay guys...last week I was driving up I-5 North coming from Socal and there were some pretty big bumps that can rip up anything on the bottom side of your car and big enough to bend or even crack rims! a couple of my friends were victim to this a couple weeks prior...

hopefully they fix it by then.

I hit one of those bumps so hard it set off my check engine light. It was half a mile north of Pea Soup Andersens. No damage but F*%K!!! I can't believe they have 15 miles of that crap.

Pretty sure I made it down for SoCal Euro last year, and that it was Dubfest I missed. Might have to make it the other way around this year. Gas ain't cheap, my car ain't new, and my time is valuable.

I'm down, but still need to clear up some things at work before I can commit 100%

+1 on being careful with the bumps. I just did the drive and it was only bad on the way back north and I got stuck in construction traffic for an hour. :(

s/n: on that last drive up from the cursed avant only gtg...there was a group of about 5 evos including a new white X complete with a HUGE rising sun decal on the side, dealer plates, and more gauges on on his A pillar than I have ever seen (anyone know him?). We did a run from approx 60-130 and I had him by 3/4 length till about 110 and then we were neck and neck till he had to slow for a truck. I was really surprised that he didn't take me, since I have no engine mods at all. I'm not sure why that was close at all, but it happened and he threw a thumbs up.

p.s. yes i know racing is stupid, but damn it i couldn't help myself and it was a rare occasion no family was in the car and a evo x wanted to play on the 5 at 3am.
