What color VMR RS4 Reps on my Black USP POLL!

Well, I picked up a set of 18in VMR RS4 Reps, and they came in the hypersilver color, Which look aswesome btw. BUT I currently have the wheel/rim seperate in my house atm. Now would be a perfect time to have them painted/powdercoated a diffrent color. I was thinking black, but am unsure. I also have seen a few Gunmetal RS4's on a few black car's, and they look awesome.

So, my question (Poll) is what should I do? Leave em stock hypersilver, or go black, gunmetal, grey, ect ?

I was thinking about this.. Wondering what that would look like, and if it would be to flashy. Ide like to fly under teh radar, but eh, who know's. I've seen one other member with a black B6, with darker gold rims, and it look good, but might have been a little more than what I like.

Rear emblems are gone, 4-rings are black, and the grill's are black too

now i'm starting to lean towards a black, but thankfully i'm not the one making this tough decision... anyways, good luck with whatever you choose I dont think you can go wrong with any of those choices

LOL, thanks. I understand what your' saying. I just want to do it once, and do it right. Im really thinking about just leaving em stock, like they came.

Hypersilver: Classiest, best choice.
Gloss Black: Will look like you tried to colormatch your wheels.
Flat Black: Will look dumb on a brilliant black car
Gunmetal: Never a fan on a black car, rims just look dirty.
Other: Gold...is sick, but only if the rims are ridiculously nice. Gold RS4 reps...cheesy.

Just my thoughts. If your car was a different color i'd suggest differently. If the rims were different i may suggest differently too.

Yeah, this is the picture ive been looking at for a while. I think Im just going to leave em hypersilver, and paint em later if I get bored. Oh well, who know's. ill probably change my mind 3 times today.

Beleive me, If I had not picked up on these reps for an awesome price, I would be looking for a mesh wheel.

I think Im just going to leave em hypersilver.

Thanks for the input charles. I am leaning twards leaving em hypersilver.

A custom gun metal finish would be killer too, but ide have way to much time in prep work, paint, materials, ect.

I don't think I would use that pic to make a decision. Bronze looks good on DG. I think it would be more difficult to pull it off on BB though. The chrome window trim will clash.

Yeah, if i did gold, ide have to black out the trim. which i might do n e ways.

and yeah, fitting my bumper around that intercooler proved to be quite the challenge. i got it on... but barely hahahaha. (had to actually trim INTO the bumper at the top - i'd probably just have to show you - cuz the top of the core is DEAD EVEN with the top of the bumper)

and if i were doing it on black - i'd either go with a gold-chrome kinda color (like those works posted earlier... god i wish i had those wheels) , or a bronze like i've got

although recently i've thought of refinishing my wheels in a lighter gold color... i just dont know

I've seen that pic. It is a sick car. However if those wheels were silver it would look better. Just my opinion. (and apparently the poll is shaping up that way too).

i chose hypersilver. just admit that silver wheels on a black car looks amazing. i think gold would be nasty too. but it would have to be a few shades lighter than the above pic.
