    Couple of questions

    Hello,

I am new member here and proud owner of a 2004 TT Roadster, which I purchased used with 40.000 miles on it. This is the first time I own an Audi and have some questions to the pro’s out there.

When I move the shifter from park to drive or reverse, there is a noise, which feels like it’s coming from the dashboard area. First I thought the mirrors were adjusting when I was putting the car in reverse. But then the same noise occasionally repeats itself when I am driving the car. Then I thought maybe it is related to the AC system and some ducts are opening and closing automatically, but again the noise repeated with no AC. Did anybody else have a similar problem and knows a remedy for this.

Second question is regarding warranty; I have the option of buying a bumper to bumper warranty for next 4 years up to 100.000 miles which is about 3500$. Do you guys think it is worth?

    Thanks in advance…

    Re: Couple of questions

Explain noise could be your gears or sync's or something else. As for warranty If you drive the car everyday and you dont care to know your car then yes get it, if you do want to work on your own car buy a Bently and go from there.
