Short story shorter...I curbed one of my BBS CH's and tire badly today The tire is gouged to crap, is it still safe?

    My Options are:

    1. Let it be.
    2. Get the rim fixed(need recommendations on a shop).
    3. Buy a new rim and tire and use this one as a full size spare.
    4. Cry all day long and hope that some invents a working time machine.

I feel sick to my stomach.

    Now for the carnage.

Collision Networks has done a good job with a friend's CHs. Theymatched the unique BBS paint perfectly. Don't know if they used actual original BBS wheel paint, but the refinished wheel was indistinguishable from the other three (new) wheels.

I told my wife she better not curb the new car's wheels as they came with 17's with a fourty series tire... of course that morning I curb my own and make myself look like an ass. It was all I could think about for days....

    Re: Curbage...

    Depends on your style...

I would clean up the hanging rubber on the tire and spray with soapy water, and/or monitor it's pressure to ensure no leaks. Then, depending on how picky you are you could try to clean up the rim yourself...and if the whole thing fails go with your spare tire idea.
