    Ksport coilovers

I would like some feedback on these from someone that has actually run themon an S4. I know some people have run these and didn't like them for one reason or another. The coilover setup they have now are supposed to be improved, which addressed a seal issue that was causing shocks to blow on some setups as well as changing the spring rates. Keep in mind that this suspension is a stiff setup marketed for motorsport use(and fully rebuildable) and isn't a streetsport suspension. I have been in cars with $4000 setups and know that the motorsport setups can be a pretty brutal street ride due to the stiffness. Please don't tell me some story about a friends brother's cousin that ran these. Direct experience only please. Thanks.

Their has to be someone else with this suspension setup! I guess I will have to take one for the team and find out if it is worth a crap.

    Re: Ksport coilovers

Ive been wondering this as well. I asked in another post but never got any responses. I had them for a short while on my crx and they were brutally harsh. They handled amazingly, but they beat the hell out of my kidneys when daily driving lol. I was hoping that they werent as harsh for the s4, but i guess they are. let us know how they perform if you get them.

    Re: Ksport coilovers

Was it harshness caused by being a stiff setup or from lack of dampening. Did it feel bouncy or just stiff? I know some of the STI guys complain because the stock suspension feels like the dampening lags behind the spring bounce which causes a pogo.

Had them on my 90 Integra, and like previously stated, they were insanely stiff but handled awesome.

LOL trust me...there was no lack of dampening. The only time i was actually able to take advantage of them was with r rated tires at VIR. It was pretty much pointless on the street because most radials would give up long before these co's would. However, once they were properly tuned(which is a real bitch) the handling was insane. I eventually sold them for some omni's, which i sold for another koni/gc setup. My crx has had like 15 different suspension combinations, but the first one for the s4 is a simple vogtland spring/bilstein setup. If the Ksports arent too harsh ill probably pick those up though, so be sure to let us know how they are on the street!
