    What would this be worth if I parted it out?

    What would this be worth if I parted it out? It looks like the only good body panels on it are the trunk lid and the rear bumper. Im going to look at it this evening. Here are the details:

    2002 Silver S4
    TIP
    49,000 miles
    Unkown if the engine runs(have not attempted to start since accident)

    I have been looking for a parts car for a while and I think I need a rear diff for my car but im just not sure if this is worth that much because of how hard it is hit. Let me know what you all think the car is worth in parts.

    hahah still browsing the iaai huh ...

    that one has low miles, but just look at the thing! not worth it dude ... i wouldnt even pay 1k for that ...

    trust me, i scavenge all the auctions you do too, big skip on this one ...

    your best bet is to buy a theft recovery, or a rear ended car (so the front is in good shape)

    Yea I would do that but I dont have the cash right now. I think I need a new rear diff so this might be a cheap fix to that problem. Plus I need a few other random parts that I could take off this Peice. Im not going to pay much for it but I think the rear diff will run me near 1G if I can find one.

    I hope one of you nice AZ'ers bought my totaled car 2 years ago. Insurance wanted $7K to buy it off them!! It was t-boned =X (Stage 2)...so pissed about that still..then it got placed in a lot so I couldn't take the H&R's, exhaust, chip, and sport mirrors!! ahaaa. lol.

    dude look at this car ... stock # 4319412

    santorin 2001.5 s4 with oem rs4 bumper, ecodes, rs4 grille, and cf hood. its a theft recovery, and looks to be in good shape. probably some issues with the engine/tranny

    Yea I saw that one but it in NJ. Plus i wouldnt want to part that out. I would want to fix it and drive it. It will prob sell for around 5k. I wish I had the money.

    iaai-bid.com its $200 a year and you need to have a dealers license. i shotty all cars in the northeast ... since you are in houston, and 2k1audis4 is in maryland, i doubt we will be competing on any cars

    i am going to bid on the NJ car ,,, hopefully i win. if it goes for 5k, thatd be sweet ... it will probably go for more - problem is the car is so nice i wouldnt want to part it out, i would turn it into a working car ... it would be my 4th S4 ... i have no use for 4 ... but i do love the parts on it ... maybe i can just sneak in and replace parts with stock

    i remember bidding on a MINT theft recovery nogaro avant with nogaro sport package ... it went for 6800 :(

    LOL, Me and you might be competing for the one in NJ after all. I am thinking about selling my car and driving that one for a while. I dont mind the salvage title and is has 50K less miles then my car. I would be loosing the sport package though. We will see how it goes though. I will have to take a look at it prior to bidding.
