- As with most turbo Mazda's, this car needs a slight idle adjustment and if driven incorrectly, can stall on hard stops. This can be fixed by converting the BOV into a recirculation loop but the car has not stalled on me in the last two months.
- As with most MP3's, has minor fading on mirrors and trunk.
- Extremely reliable vehicle, previous owner is also a NASIOC member, had great experience with car. The turbo timer has been used religiously and hand washed frequently.
- I have observed 31-32 MPG's on the car driving to and from work. (Low fuel light to low fuel light method) The MP3 handles great, rides straight and super smooth on the highway.
- Tranny, clutch, and gearbox in perfect working condition.
