used EFKs?

yo i need a EFK stat... no jhm kits or vast (no credit card). any ebay or used ones that you'd recommend?

just get a generic electric 13 inch fan (or whatever size you want/can fit) and mount it and wire it. saves you around 200 bucks. you can buy generic electric fans even at pep boys/auto zone/ or a performance shop. should run you like 70 bucks.

might have to spend a bit more time figuring out how to mount it, but saving well over 100 bucks is worth my time.

Saves $200? VAST kit is $170. Saves maybe $50.

someone care to do the legwork for me? i dont know what sites to go to to buy the EFK, and what is needed after. any writeups?

people just hook it up to an on off switch? or a thermo switch? both?

Mine comes on with the AC, and also comes on when engine temps reach 95C - about center of the temp gauge.

so would i jsut need a power cable (from battery) for it, a ground cable, and a remote cable goign to a rocker switch in the cabin? I can wire pretty well. mount it right where that one right below the sway bar is now? or above that?

Did you read that doc file

?

The kits also come with a plate that covers the hole that is left once the conventional is removed. Without this cover, the timing belt will be exposed.
