    Head light just turned a slight purple....

    01 A4. Stock HID on my pass side just turned a slight purple. Very noticeable. Bulb or ballast going out?

    HID bulbs usually get dimmer over time. If ballast is going out, the lights should start flickering.

    cool. Thanks. Was thinking maybe the ballast stop putting out. Gone through 3 ballast already. This is the first time for a purple glow.
