New satin black front filler wont fit on new blacked grille. help plz.

Hey guys. I ordered the satin blacked out grill for the 07 S4 and it fits, but the new "Front Plate Filler-Satin Black W/Black Strips" I ordered wont fit according to my tuning shop. I am confused because it said it fits 07 chassis. Did I choose the wrong one? thanks.

Well you bought the S4/S-Line black out grille, so you should have bought the S4/S-Line front filler plate. A4 and S4/S-Line have different grilles giving them different front filler plates.

The thing is for the one I bought, it only said B7 chassis. The ones that actually say "S4" are only grey fillers. Im guessing they dont have all black for 07 s4s?

You can try getting the satin black RS4 filler plate. It should fit the S4/S-line grill.

Where did you order this from?
What you may have done is accidentally ordered the front filler plate for the DTM S4, since they were also built in 2007. If you ordered it from ECS Tuning, it specifies which one is which. At ECS when you order next time your gonna want ES#6262 not ES#6264.

There must be somewhere, ill try looking for it, i bet it looks sick on our cars with a front euro plate

ECS Tuning has the b7 s4/s-line euro satin black front filler plate. You jsut have to search under b7 a4, the only problem is that you cant buy it seperately from the actual grille, which costs a total of $250.

Euro filler for a euro plate? If so then yes, Vag-parts.com has a black RS4 one for a little over $100 usd. It should fit since the RS4 and S/S-line grills are the same dimensions, I think.

Not positive but I think it will since you buy the RS4 grill for S/S-lines. They must be the same dimensions. Not sure the black RS4 euro filler would look good with the above grill because the surround trim is glossy whereas the black euro filler is more matte.
