I'm happy to respond...

Sounds like a pretty standard, easy request right? Wrong.
Sorry Brandon but that is in fact wrong... In order for us to begin a warranty claim for a damaged product that was received, we must first determine the cause of the problem and then determine a course of action if indeed the product was determined defective. I received your call, spoke to you and asked you to send in pictures for us to review.
All of our invoices specifically state that used returns are NOT authorized.
This is where Skyler comes into the picture as he received your email with pictures and responded. (Would you like to post up those pictures here?) The decision was made that due to the fact your RS4 grille was already installed on the car (the pictures you sent us show the grille on the car), it was nearly impossible for us to determine that the cause of the "blemish" was pre-install, especially since a stress crack appears right below said "blemish". The location of your stress crack just so happens to be one of the locations where you have to "press in" to install this grille in your hood. Therefore, we offered you a few possibilites based on the given information...
1) Send in the grille for a visual inspection by Achtuning staff to further determine course of action.
2) Purchase replacement grille at discounted price knowing that the RS4 grille was eventually going up in price and that you could theoretically recover your funds from grille#1 purchase with a private sale.

The owner backed up what his sales people had told me saying that there was no way to prove that I, the customer mind you, made those marks. Therefore they would not be able to take the item back. Ok? I made a paint bubble? Is there a way to prove it either way? I am the customer, your sole function is to make me happy so that I continue to buy things from you and pass on the good word to others, right?
Absolutely right, you are our customer and our responsibility is to assist you...
within our capabilities. That tends to change when threats are exchanged and you start cussing to the owner of the business.

On top of all of that, I got the charges reversed through VISA anyway.
Feel free to post up the recorded conversation as we have nothing to hide. I sat a few feet away from where Bill stood when he took your call and specifically heard you yelling (and cussing) audibly enough that even I could hear you. As far as what I heard, threats did NOT originate from Bill, but from you... Bill had apologized to you one final time after your threat and ended the call. Again, we are sorry it has all come to this but you have left us no choice.

Actually you were banned because you were repeatedly warned about cross-posting and talking back to one of the global moderators.

Very odd... What method are you using to get a hold of us? We're pretty active on most forums and we check email regularly. Ever try calling us directly?
