Why me? I HATE PEOPLE!

So I picked up my DG b6 about a month ago, have already put almost 3k miles on it (roadtrip cross country!). Its an 05 and everyone here was commenting on how nice it looked, how clean the exterior and interior is, and how there were no dents or major knicks. Well, suprise! Walked into a gas station, standing there paying, and I watch a chick open her jeep cherokee door right into my car, and hard. So I hop out of line and run to my car of course, only to watch her facial expersion go as I am running towards her, so she does what everyone does, she hauled ass out of there before I could get her plate. I know its not major and maybe I am overreacting about one small ding, but it makes me mad people do this! BTW, if anyone has any tips or things they have done to take out small dings let me know, thanks.

Go to your bodyshop or dealer and ask them for a reference on a ding doctor. Delalerships and body shops use them all the time and they'll be able to get it out and you'll never be able to tell that it was there. It now runs about $150.00 per panel for the really good guys.

If it were me, I would have chased her down and kicked a nice one into her Jeep just for running. Sorry to hear about your mishap. don't worry too much it's an easy fix but it's gonna cost you a little.

I would have chased her, fully knowing I would have caught her, but we were about half a mile away from a military base and that is where she was headed. I went in pissed and asked the attendant if they had a camera, they said they did but of course they claimed there wasnt one looking where I was at. I wasnt going to bother with a police report, a small inch ding wont bother me too much, even though when i was washed it and my car was nice and shiny it stuck out like a sore thumb. dam! ding doctor here i come

Ditto that. I've used them twice, once on a Lexus and once on a Murano, and that last was a major ding and scratch. They did an amazing job.

Just curious. How are the gas stations set up where you, are that someone can open their door far enough to hit your car while you're getting gas. That's impossible at most any gas station I've ever been too here in California. Or, were you not parked at the pump yet?

O man... I am so sorry to hear... I know how you feel. I was parked at a Toys R us (buying my nephew a bday gift) and I noticed a big ass dent on my trunk!!!
