Q: neuspeed exhaust + hangers

Just finished installing my exhaust, and my question is... are there shorter hangers that hold the mufflers up? I'm making my car a sleeper and don't plan on doing a new rear bumper, so I was wondering if there was a good way to get the tips to fit the bumper closer.

oh and going through a4mods install guide, it said that 6 speeds didn't have the Lollipop connector. From looking at the pictures and seeing what was under my car I was certain I had that connector. It looks like it at least.

Only problem is that it's now too long and can not connect to the tranny, so is the 5-speed's connector shorter?

I just bought a used neuspeed exhaust also, and when I asked the Audi dealer the parts guy said there are 3 different tranny mounting brackets I could use. Either I modify my existing bracket (drill a hole in bracket on the exhaust) or install my neuspeed exhaust and mesure the length required. Then go to my local stealership and get the correct bracket/lollipop for $30. I would be happy to see pics If possible.

do you have a six speed? i just had to drill a hole about 1" above the current hole in the lollipop connecter and it fit just fine

yes I have a six speed. Guess I'll just measure and drill. Any way to get the mufflers/tips closer up to the bumper?
