Electronic rear shade not working???

Hey guys! It's getting really sunny and hot here in Seattle! Anyway, I hit the button for the rear shade and I just found out it's not working! Has anybody (who has the electronic rear shade button option) had this problem before?

Any suggestions on getting it fixed? I'll check the fuse box today.

When I got my car the sunshade was not deploying properly and it was not fully retracting into the rear deck. Audi of Bernardsville replaced it under warranty. Here's the parts list:

Shade assembly: ~$700
Shade motor: ~$250
Shade Control Unit: ~$150

It took them about 4hrs to replace the shade and it's components. This is because they had to completely strip all the trim from around the rear window and then the rear desk to get the shade assmebly out. There is no other way to get it out.

Yes, i hear the clicking. Is that a good thing or bad thing? I don't think it is a fuse problem since I hear the clicking.

M,ine doesent work too. I get no sound at all, i think the button is bad on mine but its only $40 so i will do it my self.

At first mine would barely deploy and not close all the way. Then it just stopped deploying all together. All I would get was a click from the area where the shade is located and another when I pressed it again. It was as though the motor was stuck.

Based on the dealership's repair list, they simply replaced all of the hardware. I'm not sure why they replaced the control unit though.
