After 3 weeks of asspain, sweat, and burning skin, i'm finally done with refinishing my IForged Senekas.

That looks sooo sick and a hell of a lot better than the black. But I have to ask, since you stripped the paint and removed the protective/sealing coat, won't the wheels oxidize?

That...i don't know. I got it down to the base metal, which turned out to be the exact look i was going for. I could probably apply a couple layers of wax until i figure it out, but the car stays in the garage most of the time and gets out mostly when i go out at night.

How long did the process take?

i'm gonna guess on the 30 hour side. i would spend a couple hours here and there and a little more time on weekends when i had the time. all in all, it took a while...

yea, the paintshop i took it to did a great job the first time, but said they needed to do it again, and ended up fucking it up. i got fed up and haven't gotten around to respraying the whole car yet

Al2O3 = aluminum oxide? I'll put some wax on the faces for the time being until i figure out how to spray a clear coat on them, but i was thinking the way about how a car is painted...a $99 Maaco paintjob may be missing a clear coat and become dull after a short amount of time, but a layer of protection via wax can prolong the life of that paintjob...
