    Pics of my new baby

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Here she is! I picked her up this weekend, and I'm thoroughly thrilled! I feel like a new dad all over again. lol.
S-Line and Premium Package, CPO, and a killer deal to boot. I've owned alot of cars in my life, but I can honestly say I've never looked over my shoulder as many times admiring a purchase as I have with this. I get alot of complements too!

Any suggestions on potential mods or improvements?

Excuse my "newbness"....but could you define "chipping it"?

    Tinting is in the works...

    Cheers

Re: Pics of my new baby

Chipping changes out the ECU for added boost (if you have a turbo) and throttle response plus other secret goodies (timing etc..). If you have the 2.0T its a "must" mod because for relatively little it gives you dramatic gains in performance and enjoyability. If you have the V6 then not so much.

Would a chip benefit a 3.2, instead of a 2.0T? And would it nullify the CPO warranty I have on it? Thanks for the lingo lesson!

No it won't help the 3.2 that much, and in theory it could void certain parts of the warranty.. most likey your turbo.

    JMG,

Thanks for the prompt response and info. Sick S4 BTW! I was checking one out when I purchased the B7, but it had relatively high mileage and that 340hp V8 would be murder on my gas bill and my self-control when putting down the throttle!

Lower it a bit too. Maybe 1.5" to 2".

I'm liking your stock 18's. Let me know if you're getting rid of them whenever you buy your aftermarket 19's or 20's, which you probably will, after looking at other B7's on here...

Then your exhaust. Most catbacks will have a downpipe with it.

Also your intake, maybe a DV after your ECU upgrade.

    Your grille.

Then little bits of here and there... start blacking out things, Lamin-X.

Oh, and little bits and pieces on your headlights.

Then next thing you know, most of your paycheck will be dumped on aftermarket parts...

    Then you start having insomnia.

26k OTD, which is about $6k less than KBB. Given the fact the CPO has an additional 50k warranty and qualifies for special financing, I consider myself rather fortunate.

    great car, great deal.

i still look over my shoulder at mine after 2 years. it's nothing special compared to some of the rides on these forums, but in most parking lots I struggle to find a nicer looking car. in a world of civics, camrys, minivans, and the all too common 3 series...an S-Line really stands out.
